Be the Astronaut exhibit at IMAG through Jan. 12
Prepare for lift off and discover what space travel is all about with the new Be the Astronaut exhibit which at the IMAG History & Science Center. Experience the wonders of space and plan a space mission and learn about the technology and skills required to be an astronaut, to fly spaceships, pilot landers, and drive rovers, in this exciting new exhibit.
Designed by NASA engineers, the exhibit aims to put visitors in the pilot’s seat of a spaceship while providing a birds-eye view of real astronaut pretraining with the use of touch screen stations, interactive simulator pods built to look like space capsules, and other space travel exhibits and activities.
During this exhibit, visitors will be invited to interact with:
• Navigation Interactive Stations
• Science Interactive Stations
• Flying Capsules
• Space Suit and Space Gear Exhibits
The Be the Astronaut interactive exhibit will be on display at IMAG now to Jan. 12. Entry into the exhibit is included with general museum admission.
