Distance Learning Facebook Town Hall for parents March 25
The School District of Lee County will host a Distance Learning Facebook Town Hall on Wednesday, March 25th for parents with questions about the Instructional Continuity Plan. The Town Hall will include a short presentation and time for parent questions and answers.
“We know some of our parents want to better understand how distance learning is going to work for them and their children,” says Chief Academic Officer Dr. Jeff Spiro. “This Facebook Town Hall is a chance for them to get answers to their questions so there is a continuity in instruction when students get their first Google Classroom assignments next week.”
Participating in Wednesday’s Facebook Town Hall is simple. Parents simply need to log on to the School District’s Facebook page. Questions can be posted in the comment section or emailed in advance to DistanceLearning@leeschools.net
The Distance Learning Facebook Town Hall will begin at 1:00pm on Wednesday, March 25th. It will be available on the School District’s Facebook page afterwards for parents to review at a time more convenient to them.
In advance of the Facebook Town Hall, parents can find The Academic and Instructional Continuity Plan for Students and Parents on www.leeschools.net.
