We will be using the entire property and spreading eggs out very 30 min from 10-12 so no need to rush to be the first ones here.. No age group areas since this will be spread over acres of our farm, but please only children under the age of 12, also we will be lmiting kids to about 10-15 eggs per kid. We ask if your kid has tons of eggs to please share with others or put some back. We want everyone to get a chance to get some eggs!! Annual Egg Hunt

4000 eggs will cover the park! Children must be able to walk on their own; parents will not be able to assist them. Children should bring their own basket to collect the eggs. The event begins at 10:00 a.m. with free children’s activities, including a sidewalk chalk area. Concessions will be available as well as a photo opportunity with the bunny. The egg hunt will begin at 11 a.m. sharp with games and fun to follow. Get here early and play while you wait for main event…the egg hunt! We will begin with the two to five year olds at 11 a.m., followed by the six to ten year olds at 11:20 a.m. in a mad dash for our Easter eggs. We will be hosting a special group of visually impaired children from Lighthouse of Collier for a hunt at 11:40 a.m. Following the egg hunts, at noon, we will play a series of relay races including the bunny hop, the cone carry, the egg and spoon race and egg toss using RAW eggs! When we have finished the games around 12:30 p.m., we will begin our hands-free ice cream eating contest! The winner of course will receive an Eggcellent prize! A great family day wouldn’t be complete without our traditional barbeque, so join us for hamburgers and hot dogs while you’re here. If a rabbit can lay eggs, then we most certainly can lay coconuts. Colored coconuts and eggs will be hidden in designated areas of the recreation center park grounds. Bring your Easter basket and join the hunt. There will be games, face painting and activities for the participants. There will also be a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny. The hunt will be broken into four different age groups (0-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-11) with colored coconuts and eggs in each patch. Prizes will be given for different colored coconuts.
