The City of Fort Myers will begin limited reopening of trails on Wednesday, April 22.

Continued observance of social distancing recommendations and adherence to Centers for Disease Control precautions should be followed when using these public amenities. The reopening includes the North Colonial Yarbrough Linear Park and the Billy Creek Preserve and Filter Marsh trails.

Parking lots remain closed. Many other city facilities are still closed, including other city parks, pavilions, playgrounds, pools, recreation centers and sports fields. City leadership is working with Lee County and the Florida Department of Health in a phased approach to reopen sites.
