Physicians’ Primary Care of Southwest Florida has expanded its reach with the opening of its new San Carlos Park pediatrics office in the Preserve Plaza at 18070 S. Tamiami Trail, unit 108, Fort Myers.

A public grand opening is slated for Saturday, July 17, with a ribbon-cutting and activities for children from 9 a.m. to noon.  Among the activities will be free vision screenings and car seat inspections.

“These new quarters allow us to accommodate the growth in the San Carlos Park area as well as better serve the health care needs of children in the southern part of Lee County.  Our patients will have better access to care from this San Carlos Park location,” said Dr. Mary Yankaskas, managing physician of Physicians’ Primary Care of Southwest Florida.

The new office is ideally situated to serve patients in Estero, San Carlos Park and the Florida Gulf Coast University area because of its easy access on U.S. 41, Yankaskas said. Appointments can be made by calling 239-481-5437.  New patients are accepted.

Services offered at the new location include newborn care, well child checkups, same day appointments for ill children, vaccinations, back-to-school physicals and teen wellness exams.

Physicians’ Primary Care of Southwest Florida, a physician-owned and operated medical practice, is celebrating its 25th anniversary of caring for Southwest Florida families.  The practice was formed in 1996 by many local physicians and has grown to become the largest physician-owned primary care practice in Southwest Florida.

Medical specialties include family practice, internal medicine and pediatrics. Offices are conveniently located throughout Lee County. For more information, visit www.ppcswfl.com.
