Wet Walks at the Slough

Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve is again hosting off the boardwalk strolls along the wet walk trail usually closed to the public. The invigorating, beautiful path is immersed in the watery heart of the Slough. Group size is limited to 16. All walks are at 10 a.m. and a second walk at 1 p.m. We’ll be walking in fresh, clean rainwater, usually up to our waists. You will exit wet but not muddy, and we have a rinse off hose. Wet walk donations ($10 suggested) are used to sponsor summer camp scholarships, purchase educational supplies, fund student slough trips, and to support educational programs. You must be at least 10 years old to participate because of the possible water depth. Reservations required. 239-533-7557
Superhero Little Leapers

Who doesn’t love Superheroes? Come to Sky Zone and bring your little ones dressed up in their favorite superheroes costumes. Enjoy superhero-themed food, crafts, and activities! Toddler Time is a great shared experience for any child and parent or grandparent! A time for your little ones to discover the joy of being active, bouncing under the supervision of their parents, and without interference from the big kids. It’s $12.99 per toddler plus one parent plays free; it’s $5.99 for an additional parent to play on the trampolines. Parents & Grandparents are always welcome to watch – it’s free! The Little Mermaid

This heartwarming production is based on a fairy tale written by the Danish author Hans Christian Andersen. The stage musical for all ages follows the journey of a young mermaid who is willing to give up her life in the sea and her identity as a mermaid to gain a human soul. Nick’s Kids Show and Safety Day

Nick’s Kids Show will present a musically entertaining show for the entire family! At Nick’s Kids Show, everyone is a STAR! Nick invites kids from the audience to be in the rock ‘n roll band! The Saturday event features free staged performances, art activities and gallery admission. Local dance and movement groups spanning a spectrum of styles and cultures will take the theatre stage throughout the day.
