Broadway Palm accepting children’s audition videos for upcoming production of Kinky Boots

Broadway Palm is accepting children’s audition videos for their upcoming production of Kinky Boots. All submissions need to be emailed to Brian Enzman (brian@broadwaypalm.com) by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 1. Audition materials are available at the box office or at broadwaypalm.com/backstage/auditions/. 

The following are the roles available:

Kinky Boots

Rehearsals Feb. 10 – Feb. 12; plays Feb. 13 – April 4, 2020. 

Casting the roles of:

1. Young Charlie
   1. Charlie is a 7 to 10-year-old boy who is lost, quiet and reflective. Must be under 5 feet tall. Ethnicity: White / European Descent 
2. Young Lola
   1. Lola is a 7 to 12-year-old boy who already knows he is destined to wear high heels. Must be under 5 feet tall. Ethnicity: Black / African Descent

            Anyone interested in auditioning should record a vocal/reading audition for the role they are submitting for and include a current headshot/picture and resume. The audition materials are on our website (broadwaypalm.com/backstage/auditions/) and available at the box office. 

            Broadway Palm is a professional theatre. Productions require a rehearsal process (Feb. 10 – Feb. 12, 2020). Performances are Tuesday through Sunday evenings with selected matinees. The role will be double cast and children will alternate performances. Performance schedules are available at BroadwayPalm.com. Anyone interested must be available for the rehearsal period and all alternated, assigned performances. Compensation will be provided in four dinner and show tickets to Kinky Boots.
