Local students in annual Sounds of the Season on TV
The School District of Lee County presents the 8th Annual Sounds of the Season TV special on Friday, Dec. 20. This year’s Sounds of the Season features performances from more than 800 students from 17 schools performing over 50 holiday favorites.
Sounds of the Season showcases fine arts programs from around the District. Each participating school performs musical selections of their choice, all with a holiday theme. Winners from the District’s annual holiday greeting card contest are also featured.
The 8th Annual Sounds of the Season will debut on the School District’s Facebook page and YouTube Channel on Friday, Dec. 20 at 6 pm. It will also be broadcast on Lee Schools TV (Comcast Channel 99 or Centurylink Channel 89) several times during the winter break. NBC-2 and ABC-7 plan to air portions of some of the performances during the holidays.
