Alliance for the Arts

Alliance for the Arts will be hosting its popular Summer Break Arts Camp this year beginning June 10. Registration is open to any student ages 7-12 years with a half day “Mini Explorers” option for those ages 4-6. Summer Break Arts Camp will be broken up into seven one-week sessions June 10 – Aug. 2. No camp session will be held over the Fourth of July holiday, July 1-5. Full day camp themes include World Art Explorers (week 1 & 4), Underwater Adventure Explorers (week 2 & 5), Dinosaur Explorers (week 3 & 6). Regular camp hours are 9 am – 4 pm. Before and after-care are available 8 – 9 am and 4 – 5 pm for an extra $10 per child, per day. Pricing is $60 a day or $275 per weekly session for members and $70 a day or $325 per week for non members. Digital Arts add on is $40 for members, and $50 for non-members. Sibling discounts are available, as well as scholarship options.  Mini explorers half day camp offers children ages 4-6 years old the chance to engage in themed days filled with art, games, music, and a dress up day. The camp will be 9 a.m. – noon. Campers must be picked up by noon. After care is not available. Camp themes include Disney Explorers (week 1 and 4), Underwater Adventure Explorers (week 2 & 5), Dinosaur Explorers (week 3 & 6).

Edison & Ford Estates

Edison and Ford Winter Estates is offering several summer camp options for children in grades K-5. The camps are educational and focus on science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM), and incorporate fun activities. Campers get to invent, design, build, and learn in the same location where famous inventors Thomas Edison and Henry Ford invented some of the world’s best-known products. Florida Repertory Theatre

Florida Rep offers two-week musical intensive camps each summer for students ages 9 – 18. Each session centers around a Broadway Jr. title and are open to all skill levels. The camps run Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and culminate with two public performances on the Historic Arcade Stage.  Camp theses are Seussical Jr. for ages 9-18 June 3 – 14, Aladdin Jr. for ages 11-18 June 17 – 28, Camp Mini Stars (The Lion King Jr.) for ages 6-8 July 1 – 5, Anastasia Youth Edition for ages 11-18 July 8 – 19 and The Lion King Jr. for ages 9-18 July 22 – Aug. 2. Tuitions for all main camps are $440 and tuition for mini stars is $200.
