A nonprofit mobile health clinic that brings essential medical care to those in need across Lee County is adding a new Fort Myers site — one of six locations it visits each month.

Premier Mobile Health Services will now park its medical clinic on wheels at Kimmie’s Recovery Zone, 507 Center Road in Fort Myers, once a month.

Kimmie’s Recovery Zone is a nonprofit community organization for those recovering from substance use disorders. It hosts a community food distribution at the same time as the mobile clinic hours.

April’s schedule includes Kimmie’s Recovery Zone April 8, Gladiolus Food Pantry April 10 and 24, Pine Manor Community Center April 11 and 16, Chili Fest Cape Coral April 7, Cafe of Life in Bonita April 5 and 19 and FSW State College April 22.

Premier Mobile Health Services offers an array of services to low-income children, families, individuals and the uninsured, including preventive screenings, vaccinations, nutrition counseling, school physicals and more.

The monthly mobile clinic schedule can be found at   premiermobilehealth.org.
